Xiao Ying

Xiao Ying, a member of China Artists Association, used to be a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

In 2023, "Desert Flower 2023" won the 2023 HK CACR (Hong Kong Silver Award for Contemporary Art), and "Desert Flower 202310" was selected as the "Language Boundary" China Art Exhibition. In 2022, "Re-reading Fahai Temple Wall Map" was selected as the fourth national comprehensive material painting biennale. In 2021, the work "Ink and Wash Series" was selected for the national exhibition of comprehensive materials paintings by young and middle-aged painters. In 2019, "Looking Back from afar" was selected as the third national art exhibition.

Xiao Ying's works are very expressive and appealing. She is good at creating a fantastic visual experience through complex brushstrokes and heavy pigments, which reflects her deep thinking on life and art and is rich and unique in artistic language. Therefore, Xiao Ying's art is not only a visual expression but also a mapping of the inner world.
